Superintendent's Welcome

Welcome to the Delaware Valley Regional High School District!

Delaware Valley Regional High School District sits in the heart of beautiful Hunterdon County, New Jersey, serving roughly 650 students in grades nine through twelve from our five member municipalities: Alexandria Township, Frenchtown Borough, Holland Township, Kingwood Township, and Milford Borough. Our smaller size gives us a strong sense of community and family, and our students are at the center of everything we do. As a comprehensive high school, we focus on developing the whole child through leadership opportunities, broad academic programs, and a thriving extra- and co-curricular life, all within a school community dedicated to a safe, positive culture and a tradition of success.

Delaware Valley Regional High School truly offers something for every student. Students have access to outstanding educators, a rigorous AP program, academic career academies, and multiple concurrent enrollment programs taught by faculty who have met the stringent criteria to serve as in-house university adjunct professors. Our work is guided by a Five-Year Strategic Plan centered on student achievement and continual growth, shaped by feedback from our entire school community. Its most recent outcome is the Profile of a DVRHS Graduate, which outlines the skills and competencies our community believes will support students after graduation.

The high school provides top-notch technology to support learning and prepare students for college and the workforce: every student receives a MacBook Neo laptop, and we use Canvas as our learning management system and Google Workspace for Education for communication. Students in grades 9-11 take the PSAT, which builds exposure to more advanced material, better prepares upperclassmen for college entrance exams, and gives us valuable data to guide instruction and track progress.

We recognize that success comes in many forms. Our halls and classrooms are home to award-winning scholars, athletes, actors, artists, musicians, and leaders. Students are celebrated each month at Board of Education meetings for their achievements and contributions to our school community.

I would like to thank the faculty, staff, students, parents, and community for their continued support, and we all look forward to another successful year at Delaware Valley Regional High School.

Scott McKinney, Superintendent
